I have worked in the international transport industry for twenty years and one of the most frequented destinations was Spain.
It was during this time that my love for Spanish cuisine blossemed.
I would try all kinds of foods and buy cook books so that coming home from my trips abroad i could cook Spanish - inspired meals. Spicy green peppers were always a staple on the dinner table and one day it occured to me that spicy pepper jam would be a fabulous idea.
A couple of years later my wife and i were maried and we gifted each of our guests a jar of our home made spicy green pepper jam. Our Spanish friends, who also own a restaurant ,were so enthusiastic about this jam that when we visited next in Spain they encouraged us to think about taking this hobby to the next level and making it a commercial project.
And so we did.
